Families are welcome to explore our Little Learners Literacy Collection, featuring over 1,000 books for young children to discover and enjoy. Spend time reading together, explore our early learning space, and discover all that the Armory has to offer.

The Parent-Child Playgroup
The Parent-Child Playgroup is a free weekly program designed for babies through age 5 of all abilities and their caregivers. Families are invited to join us every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a fun and welcoming morning filled with hands-on play centers, story time, pretend play, motor activities, and more. The playgroup now also features music enrichment, giving children opportunities to explore instruments, participate in small-group activities, and enjoy music through play.
The Parent-Child Playgroup is provided by The Family Center through the Orange County Department of Health and is held at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, 321 S. William Street, Newburgh, NY. Family Play Time: Parent-Child Workshop
Spend the morning playing, exploring, and learning with your child!
Join us every Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center for Family Play Time. Children can enjoy a variety of toys and activities while parents and caregivers have the opportunity to connect with a local professional and ask questions about child development.
